Cancellation Policy

Sessions will last for: • 60 minutes for individual sessions • 50 minutes for under 18s • One hour and 15 minutes for couple’s or family sessions Via video call or face-to-face in Mallorca. They will occur once a week, at the same time and day each week where possible. The whole session time belongs to you, whether you choose to attend or not, and the counsellor will be present for the entire time of the session. If your circumstances change and the session time is no longer suitable, we will do our best to accommodate this and offer you an alternative time. If you are unable to attend a session, you will need to give plenty of notice (and not less than 48 hours) in writing either by email or WhatsApp to Anna. We will do our best to accommodate this and offer you an alternative time or date. However, if this is not possible, the full fee will be charged for the missed session. Cancellation of an appointment or failure to show up for an appointment will also incur the full fee. Counsellors will be available for you with the exception of holidays and occasional times when attending training workshops or conferences. We will give you as much notice as possible if they are unable to make a session. In the event that they need to miss your session because of illness, we will give you as much notice as possible and will try to offer you an alternative time. Sessions missed due to our unavailability are not charged for. Visit our website for full details on counselling fees. Charges will be reviewed each year and we will give at least one month's notice of any increase. Payment is due upon booking by online payment via The Gap Counselling website or by bank transfer to any of the accounts detailed below and must be received no later than 48 hours before a session. We can work together for an initial period of four weeks and then conduct a review. It is important for you to know that it is you, the client, who has the deciding say on whether or not to continue.
